Is the Electrotherapy Device Safe?

Concerns have been raised about the safety of electrotherapy devices, given their maximum output voltage of up to 9000V, while typical household electricity is only 110V. Some may worry about potential risks. However, it's essential to note that the impact on the human body is related to large currents, not high voltage. The high voltage generated by electrotherapy devices typically involves minimal current flow, and normal use does not pose a danger to the human body.

With a history of over seventy years in Japan, electrotherapy devices are recognized as household medical equipment there. In Taiwan, they are also classified as medical devices. Therefore, all aspects, including electrical safety, usage guidelines, production, and sales, undergo rigorous inspection and verification by health authorities. As a result, electrotherapy devices are considered a reassuring and safe method of physical therapy.
